Raising a family or entering into the family life is no joke. That’s why parents always freak out about practicing safe sex to their children. Because when unsafe sex has been practiced by their children it my lead their children to a sudden and unexpected world. This world that they will enter will certainly be hard and my cause some people their dreams.

Due to unsafe sex, many people end up being pregnant. When it comes to the point that they learn that they are pregnant, those who are not planned for this responsibility become freaked out. When this happens, women most of the time end up on the losing side. In some situations the women’s partner would not want to share the responsibility of the pregnancy. That is why sometimes the women becomes afraid, especially those that have great plans fro themselves to enter into a critical ethical dilemma. Some, especially those with Christian backgrounds, would become confused as to be a single parent or enter into abortion.

Abortion is the way that some women choose to end her unintended pregnancy. According to statistics, the number of women in the United States alone is at an alarming rate of 1.31 million in a year. This is a result of a woman having more than one unplanned pregnancy in their lifetime. More research says that half the women in the United States when they reach 45 have undergone abortion already.

Aside from the stated reasons above here are some other reasons why some women opt for abortion.
• She does not want anyone to know she is pregnant nor had sex.
• Cannot afford the baby
• Outside influence by the family or friends
• Fetus has  a health problem
• She has all the babies she needs (expanding the family is no longer an option)
• The pregnancy was due to rape or incest
• Immaturity

When faced with this situation, it is best to ask help from experts who have gone through this situation. It is best for you to really think about the moral consequences of having a child aborted. When in doubt open up to a family member or a close friend, if you would not want anyone to know go to a councilor to ask help first. There are other ways to escape the responsibility of abortion without murdering the fetus, one option can be abortion. In some cases, the woman is required tot ell her parent or her legal guardian about the abortion she plans. Usually this happens when the woman is still a teenager.

If you have made up your mind, try to have it done as early as possible. As the longer abortions are postponed the more dangerous it can be. Most abortions done in the second trimester are merely 11 percent compared to 90% in the first trimester.

The abortion may only give you cramp pains as the painkillers will help reduce pain. However remember that it will not be you that will feel most of the pain but the fetus. Although no one can tell if the fetus can experience pain, what is being done to the fetus is unjustifiable. Maybe you deserve the little cramp that you get for having it aborted. It’s only the little fair way that fetus pays back.

After the abortion different women may feel different things. Some may feel relieved that the problem is over (sounds sadistic? let’s just respect their reasons for being so). Some may feel depressed and some may feel angry. Even though no research proves this, men may have a bad day as well after the woman who had abortion has emotional difficulties.

Although times may be changing and abortion has become open to some culture and society, it is hard to fathom a future baby or human being be disposed of. It is quite a scary thought for a woman to enter in that kind of situation. Personally if I were to enter in that situation, I will be in am ethical dilemma as well. Bottom line is, if you really are in love with the person or just plain horny, always practice safe sex. So that we may prevent the situation where one has to go through abortion.
